We have a tradition of going above and beyond. Consider this. As a hurricane blew through New Jersey, an older adult thinking of moving to Monroe Village found herself stranded at home without power. Her niece called the community to ask the woman’s sales counselor for help. Our counselor went to the woman’s home, helped her pack, and brought her back to Monroe Village. He settled her in, introduced her to residents, and made her feel comfortable. When the storm subsided and power returned, our counselor drove the woman home, helped her unpack, and made sure her medication dispenser was working properly. You might already have guessed … that woman is a Monroe Village resident today.
