Jay Whiteman, Senior Executive Director
Jay is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of Monroe Village and Village Point. With 18 years of experience in the senior living industry, he served as Executive Director at Meadow Lakes leading the team through $20 million+ of capital improvements to enhance amenities and infrastructure across the campus, enhancing communication with residents, improving levels of resident satisfaction and demonstrating repeated survey excellence in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing neighborhoods, including Advanced Standing recognition for the Assisted Living Program.
Jay is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Muhlenberg College with an A.B. in Business Administration/A.B. in Economics; Summa Cum Laude graduate from Temple University with an M.B.A. in Healthcare Administration/M.S. in Healthcare Financial Management; and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey. Industry affiliations include Chair of the Springpoint Senior Living Human Resources Advisory Board; Springpoint Senior Living Ethics Committee member; Advisory Board member for the Jersey College School of Nursing’s Ewing, NJ campus.
Tina Hanoman, Administrator of Village Point
Tina assists in the direction of the overall function of Village Point’s ongoing operations including planning and development in accordance with federal, state, and local standards; buildings; and regulations. Prior to that, she worked in various roles including human resources manager and implementation specialist for an electronic health record company.
Tina holds a Master of Science in Health Administration from New Jersey City University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rutgers University. She is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in the State of New Jersey, Certified Assisted Living Administrator (CALA) and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). A member of the Community Emergency Response Team, she is also certified in CPR/AED by the American Heart Association.
Nathan Perez, Director of Sales
Nathan is responsible for the overall leadership of the marketing and sales efforts for the campus. He has been a part of the Monroe Village team for over 15 years, including prior experience in the Marketing Coordinator and Senior Sales Counselor positions. Nathan’s focus has been to increase revenue, enhance amenities and floor plan offerings, strengthen relationships with prospective residents, improve levels of new resident satisfaction, and increase awareness of the campus.
Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration- Healthcare Management from Western Governors University and is a Springpoint Senior Living Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee member. He believes that “selling” is a consultative process that requires understanding people and meeting them where they are to meet their needs. Nathan enjoys spending time with his spouse, who also works for Springpoint, and their dogs, Lilo and Kalea. His interests include gardening, sociology, history, travel, and design.
Paula Falkowski, Sales Counselor
Paula has been with Monroe Village since 2017, bringing over 20 years of healthcare related experience to the position of Sales Counselor. She relishes the opportunity to educate about the benefits and amenities available at a Life Plan Community; introducing the worry free lifestyle to people brings her joy.
Paula is an Air Force military wife with three grown children. She loves meeting new people, and creating new family members out of the people she meets. Relationships are the most important aspect of her life. Paula is an avid cook and baker and loves sharing all her treats with anyone willing to try them. She and her husband love to spontaneously explore and travel any chance they get.
Karen Cerreto, Sales Counselor
Karen is a trusted and caring person who has been working in the retirement and senior living industry for 14 years. She is passionate about helping and guiding prospective residents and their families as they navigate the benefits of a Life Plan Community.
When she’s not at work, Karen spends quiet time connecting with nature. You may find her tending the garden, enjoying mountain vistas, or walking barefoot on the beach. These peaceful and refreshing moments impart a sense of calm, which she is able to bring to your search for the best life!
Joe Reyes Jr., Marketing Coordinator
Joe is the newest addition to the marketing and sales team, bringing a fresh approach to the move in process for the community. As the marketing coordinator, Joe is responsible for navigating our new residents through the move in process from start to finish. Maintaining a strong relationship with our renovation team and outside vendors is the key to this process. Joe wants our new residents to have the best experience possible and he takes each move personal, offering the support of our popular Move Ahead program, to help alleviate as much moving related stress for all concerned.
Joe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Communications from the University of North Carolina. When Joe is not at Monroe Village, you can find him spending quality time with his family and friends creating new memories and finding new adventures to explore.
